    1. [OHCUYAHO] Book recommendation
    2. Hello everyone, Yesterday, I was at the Main Cleveland Library, History Department. On a table someone had left a book that peaked my interest. It is titled "Psychic Roots--Serendipity & Intuition in Genealogy" by Henry Z. Jones, Jr. What a strange title. I checked the book out and am now trying to read it. Trying is not a bad thing in this case. Its the remembering that is holding me from getting through the book. I would like to recommend this book to everyone as a light read. It is written by a genealogist and he narrates instances from others on how they found a long lost relative, a piece of information, etc. without really looking for them or it. The book is about those "AHA!" moments where one can offer no explanation on how or why information was found or (another example) how someone has gone into an unknown cemetery and walked right to an ancestor's gravesite This is not a "how to do anything and everything connected with genealogy" book but a book that offers hope to those of us who have those brick walls or elusive relatives who refuse to be found. It reinforces the "AHA!" moment for all of us and says, "Yes, that moment is alive and well; we just have to wait and recognize it when it happens" The book can be ordered from the Cleveland Public Library from this link: http://search2.clevnet.org/web2/tramp2.exe/log_in/guest?SETTING_KEY=CLEVNET (Type in the title in the lower section) Have a great weekend.
