"West Virginia Research: Finding your Ancestors in the Mountain State" will be the featured program presented by guest speaker Pat Morgan to the Lorain County Chapter/ OGS on Monday, March 8 at the North Rigeville Public Library, 35700 Bainbridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Social time begins at 6:30 pm; the program followed by a general meeting begin at 7:00 pm. A large number of Ohians have roots that go back to the mountains of West Virginia, a state rich in history and culture. Pat Morgan has spent considerable time researching the treasure trove of historical and genealogical records that the State of West Virginia has made accessible to the family researcher. With this program, Pat will share her strategies for locating West Virginia family roots in these records. Pat is the secretary of the Medina County Genealogical Society.
