Yes, that's William, but what I need is information about his parents, and I thought there was an outside chance that something further about his sister might lead to parent information. The records at Sandusky are on microfiche and I've taken notes from the parts of them that I could read, but there is no copy capability. I have ordered LDS films for the time frame of his admission and hope they are the same records and will be entirely legible and I can copy and study them. I also ordered death recods, hoping that something there was recorded about his parentage. Salt Lake is running behind on supplying orders due to a new system that is in the testing stage. Since Millie disappears from the city directory soon after the 1900 census, she either died or moved away. Hope springs eternal that she went somewhere else where death certificates were created--or maybe I haven't been creative enough, spelling-wise, to find her name in indexed death records. If the indexer made a typo on the first letter of Reed, the record could be hidden anywhere. (The first letter of my father's surname was omitted on SSDI, simply a mistake. I found him by searching his SSN.) Both of her brothers, William and Nelson, died before 1900. Nelson's. Thank you for your interest and help. I actually need parent information for her brothers, Nelson and William Bestor. Millie (Amelia, Emilia) and the two men are definitely siblings, named in William's CW Pension record. > > > > Lila > > > Date: Sun, 31 Jan 2010 05:02:55 -0800 > > From: myheritage@sbcglobal.net > > To: ohcuyaho@rootsweb.com > > Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] Cleveland Newspapers 1900-1904 > > > > She is not in the 1901 or 1902 Cleveland City Directory > > Susan > > > > --- On Sat, 1/30/10, Lila Garner <lilagarner@hotmail.com> wrote: > > > > From: Lila Garner <lilagarner@hotmail.com> > > Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] Cleveland Newspapers 1900-1904 > > To: ohcuyaho@rootsweb.com > > Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010, 11:19 PM > > > > > > What a treasure-trove you've found.
