LOWRIE    ALEXANDER        LOWRIE    WILLIAM purched property Street Name:  BRIDGE Date Recorded:  08/30/1851 http://recorder.cuyahogacounty.us/ Cuyahoga County Recorder's Office --- On Sun, 12/27/09, Eliz Hanebury <elizhgene@gmail.com> wrote: From: Eliz Hanebury <elizhgene@gmail.com> Subject: [OHCUYAHO] LOWRIE LEWIS Cleveland 1840 - 1880 To: ohcuyaho@rootsweb.com Date: Sunday, December 27, 2009, 6:17 PM I have two Lewis sisters, know all about them <G> Mary and Ann married two Lowries; William and Alexander, Alexander is the son of David and Margaret Bell Lowrie. I feel that William and Alexander are brothers but I can't get near proving it, Alexander was with Margaret in 1850 making that much easier. They married in Cleveland in the mid 1850's,  does anyone have a Lowrie connection who connects to one of these men? While writing this I found a 1841 Census that has William with David and Margaret but no Alexander so my theory is looking better. Also my gggaunt Harriet Hill Lowrie Lewis appears to be living just above the family William died in Titusville Pa in 1913 and Alexander died 1917 in Cuyahoga Co.
