    2. Bette: I served as Law Director of Euclid from 1964 to 1971. Harry Knuth was President of Counsel during that period until he was elected Mayor in 1970. My memmory is that there was a son named Bob who was in education and specifically at Euclid High. Later on he rose to a management position. The Euclid Historical Society should have more information. My memory is that Harry was in the greenhouse busines. Bill Monroe iaces@aol

    3. I tried to search the census records for you, but you don't give much information to go on. Do you have birth information for either Henry or Charlotte? I did find this which may or may not be yours. A divorced Charlotte Holly in the 1880 census. I can't find a Henry living with a Charlotte in either 1870 or 1880 to see if there are any siblings. 3. Does anyone know if records still exist of the Bethel Home or Bethel Union, operated by the Western Seamen's Friend Society? According to the 'Encylopedia of Cleveland History', it ceased to exist about 1920. A relative who was a seaman on the Great Lakes was listed in the 1873 City Directory, as boarding at the "Bethel Home". At that time it was located in the "McCurdy Block," at the corner of Superior and Spring Streets.

    1. O'Donnell
    2. I am trying to find more info on the family of Stephen O'Donnell, who was born Dec.1834 somewhere in Ireland. He married Mary Collins, born either in England or Ireland about 1831. They had at least the following children: Stephen, Mary, Thomas, and Honorah. I know nothing more about Thomas and Honorah. The younger Stephen married Caroline Neuhofer (1875-1959). The younger Mary married Edward V. Barker of England, probably in that country. The family (minus the Barkers) were living in Toronto in 1881. By 1900 they were in Cleveland, Ohio. I have seen the 1881 Canadian census and those for Ohio for 1900 and 1910. The Barkers eventually came to Cleveland as well. Any additional info most welcome.
