At an antique store in Delaware OH, I found an old cabinet card photo by an Ashland photographer with the following written on the back: Grandpa Orlo Kosht and Carlton Kosht I believe this is Orlo (or Orlow) Kosht, son of Jacob and Ann Kosht of Crawford Co Ohio. I see Orlow and his wife Katherine living in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co in 1900 with children Guy and Grethchen. Orlow and Katherine are buried in Ashland City Cemetery. Kathie You can send an email request to archives for a copy of the certificate. More than likely it will give you only the date, the bride and groom names and the person that married them. They will send it to you snail mail (with the bill) so be sure to include your mailing address in the email. It is 25 cents per copy but a minimum of $1.00, so if you only request one certificate, it will be $1. They are fairly quick, in general, to get the papers in the mail. You will only recieve a reply if they have a question. Jean

Dear Ceal, Good point--there could be so many reasons. Alicia's husband, JOHN HENRY GALVIN, was also supposed to have lost his Irish family. The family story is that he lost them on the boat over arond 1846, when he was about 2, and was adopted by an English family. I have never been able to find out if this was the case, I keep trying to find out who raised him.
