Kathy: This may help you. I looked up Kenneh Evanson in Ancestry and found a couple of newspaper articles which point to a Kenneth living in Lorain County, specifically Vermillion. I then looked up in the marriage index for Cuyahoga County and found a Elmer T Evensen who married a Jennie Andresen. So I looked up John Andresen in 1910 and found this family: What to do next? Name: John Andresen Birthplace: NOR State: OH Age: 53 Color: W Enumeration District: 0041 Visit: 0376 County: Cuyahoga, Rocky River Relation: Head of Household Other Residents: Relation Name Color Age Birth Place Wife Atelia 52 NOR Daughter Agnes 28 NOR Daughter Katy 21 Ohio Daughter Jennie 19 Ohio Son Oscar 18 Ohio Daughter Edna 17 Ohio Daughter Olga 14 Ohio Son John 12 Ohio Daughter Myrtle 10 Ohio Daughter Harriet 08 Ohio I'm now trying to find Elmer who then remarried a Dorothy Erdman in Lorain County. I'll get back to you when I locate them. Dennis, Would you mind trying the spelling of Evenson? It's a common error. Thank you. Kathy

I'm not sure how difficult it is to look someone up in the 1930 census, but if someone has access I would appreciate a lookup for Kenneth Evanson, about age 12. In 1920 at age 2 he was living in Lakewood with his grandparents, John and Othilda Anderson, and the Andersons' children. Thank you. Kathy
If the Dingeldeins remained in Cleveland after 1920, it is important to know their religion, since that often determined where they would be buried. For instance, if they were Catholic, after the 1920's, Calvary Cemetery was a likely choice, regardless of whether they lived on the east or west side of Cleveland.

Looking for connections to: Joseph Peter EVANS b. Aug 1850 Scranton/Cleveland,Cuyahoga,OH d. Oct 1929 Allenwood, Union County, PA. He is buried in the Allenwood Cemetary, Union County, Pennsylvania. The family history reflects that he lost a leg while working on the Railroad. But now there is evidence from an article written by "The Grit" that he lost both legs and a hand while employed by the Railroad. He first married Jennie and had two or three children (2 boys and a girl)and later married: Luella "LuLu" MOORE b in probably Erie, Pennsylvania they had 12 children. ( 3 boys and 9 girls): The boys were placed in an orphanage. Family history is that Richard ran away and eventually married Mary L. PFLEEGOR when he was 22 years old. I have a copy of the marriage certificate, which lists his father, Joseph Peter EVANS is listed as living - but his mother, Lulu (Moore) EVANS is listed as deceased at the time. Richard Peter EVANS b.
