It is the Go to http://www.alternatiff.com/ and choose INSTALL to IE (or the next link if you use Mozilla or other browser). AlternaTIFF is a terrific viewer for these images. Lets you browse through all the pages of a deed, rotate the image, save, zoom, etc. Sandy

I read advice & know its a TIFF image, but not even Photo Shop can work it! Any tricks for Windowns 98? Dick I also would like someone to advise me on the above problem, as I am experiencing the same. The images on the website open by default in Quicktime, and there does not seem to be an option to "open with" anything else. If viewing them, they are too small for these aged eyes to read, and there is no enlarge option with this viewer (clicking on the image does not work). There is also no option for getting to the second page, as far as I can see. When I download the image, using "save target as", my favorite photo program (Photo Suite) won't open most of them, even though they are .tiff files and that program usually recognizes that file extension. However, the Picture It program, that came preinstalled on my computer, does open them. Thus, I am able to print them and then read them. However, I still do not get the second page. I'd still like to be able to view them first though, as some of the ones I printed are not even my family. Questions: Must I download a special viewer in order to magnify the image on the website and also get the second page? If so, which viewer and from where? I'm running Windows 98 SE. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I LOVE this website and would like to do more with it. Anne

I don't have a "Save image as..." option on my right-click popup. Hope this helps. don

When the page comes up with the link <<view image>> just click and then up comes a big numbere etc right click and save target, if I have a step missing just play with it and you will soon get it But if it is your viewer try the free Irfanview.
