You can search with a last name and * (asterisk gives you any first name) 3. You can search using a last name and one, two, or more letters of the first name. 4. You can search using a partial last name which is useful if the name has a chance of appearing in various spellings. If you use this though, you MUST use the asterisk for the first name otherwise it assumes the partial last name is the full last name.
You can search the deed records back to 1810 - you need a first and a last name if you are searching by name. Hi List, This may seem a strange request and I hope I am in the correct mail list to place this request. I have found a Residents alien border crossing identification card in the name of SHIRLEY KLECKNER. Whom I suspect is my Shirley Florence FARMER from Australia who moved to Americia & Married a ? KLECKNER in New York at the end/after WWII- Now, she may very well be alive still as according to family lore, she was alive in 2000. Can't find her in the phone book, they had no children. I just want to tidy this family line up, she was/is my grandfather sister's daughter. If anyone can help, with -------can I find out more about this Residents alien border crossing identification card -- which I found in Ancestry. In the white pages, there is only 1 Kleckner in Cleveland.. Quiet a few in Ohio. Any help would be wonderful...as I am at a lose as to what to do.. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.. many thanks Judith from Victoria Australia.
Quit a few of the OH KLECKNER are located in the Cleveland area IE Mentor, Willowick, Brecksville, and Euclid... also Akron and Vermillion are close... basically anyplace beginning with 440 or 441 would be close to Cleveland.... found at Switchboard.com http://www.switchboard.com/ I can tell you that they probably don't live on Coit Rd. nowadays! Also please include the surname in the subject line... many people will simply delete messages with subject lines without surnames... some of us recieve as many a 50 to 100 messages a day Robert Judy Ballantyne <[email protected]> wrote: Hi List, This may seem a strange request and I hope I am in the correct mail list to place this request. Trina, Have you tried contacting the Cuyahoga County Tax Dept? When someone owns property, they have to pay taxes on it. I know in NC they have theirs on the county government web site you can access for free, and it will take you back to when the first taxes were paid on the property and who owned it at that time. Hope this info is, maybe, some kind of help? Sincerely, Amy Byrd North Carolina ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Dear Belle, I noticed you found a Doyle living within a Reinhold household for another lister in the 1930 census. My maternal grandmother was a Reinhold, and her parents lived in PA for a while. (A lot of my family is buried in PA) I have not done a whole lot of research on this lineage yet, being that my great grandmother and grandfather came over from Germany, so.... will have to do some extensive German research when I get to it. Was wondering if you could email me what you found also? Would greatly appreciate it! Thank you for any help you're willing/able to give! If I can return the favor....let me know!
