Here is a message to whoever was searching for Frances Cowles. It was sent to me in error. Trina ----- Original Message ----- From: carolyn vigneulle To: 'Mark and Trina Galauner' Sent: Sunday, June 24, 2007 9:13 AM Subject: Sykora record Hi Mark and Trina, You might try to find James's obit to see if his daughter is Frances. I tried and found James obit but Josephine was deceased but there was a Mrs., Glen Cowles. There was also an obit for Frances Cowles. You might see if they filed a will in Cuyahoga county probate courts. By going to the Probate court site you could search records for this time period. Hope this helps Carolyn Vigneulle
Hugh: The archives have death records from 1868 to 1904. You can get 1904 to 1956 at the Akron Summit Library. Thanks to all of you for trying to help. This Cora Sinclair isn't the one we are looking for. Once again we hit a dead end -- the story of our life as to Cora. Cora was a Brown before she married J. Howard Sinclair. Cora was born 1882 +/- a year in PA. We do know that in the late 50s or early 60s she was living in Ohio somewhere very near to the expressway going from Toledo to Pittsburgh, She probably married a Mr. Oswald and died under the name of Oswald.
