Walter and All, I am working with Rootsweb to get this straightened out, Jerilyn had asked for someone to take over the list. She had written me and told me thank you and said she would put my address in the Administrator's address portion of the tools page, but she never did that, so in essence she is still the listowner. Rootsweb is trying to contact her, if she doesn't answer, they will have to wait for a period of time before changing the list to me, unless she answers and tells them it is OK. I am manager of several other lists on Rootsweb and as soon as we get things straight, will get the OHCLERMO prepended to list as soon as possible. A little about my family, the Hesler, Heslar families of Clermont, Brown Counties of Ohio and Mason Co., Kentucky have been in these areas for sometime, William Hesler married Catherine Waits in Mason Co. in 1802. Some of the family uses the Heslar spelling, but have been proven to be the same family as the Hesler family. The spelling Hessler is also used, some records have the name Hester, although I think this is just a recorder or transcription error. I have considerable material on the Hesler family and have a web site on Rootsweb, the address is in the signature file of the message.
