With the aid of Rev carlely@juno.com , my Dad was buried this am with some of our dearest friends attending. I thank you all for your notes of sympathy, but feel bad we have caused a few to UNSUBSCRIBE from OHCLERMO-L@rootsweb.com And,between my tears, I learned some genealogy of interest to some of you. Last winter, one of you [?] hear that the Williamsburg cemetary records were transfered to the Bethel I.O.O.F. 80+ year old Gar Parker attended. Beside's being my Mom's 1st and 4th grade student, Gar was the long time secretary of the Bethel I.O.O.F. and one of the few surviving members. Gar doubts the Bethel I.O.O.F. got such records, but will check. GAR doubts the Willimsburg cemetary was I.O.O.F. ,and also, that Willamsurg still has an I.O.O.F. chapter. Russ Wolfer was listening to me talk to Gar,and said he had [access to] the Calvery Methodist Cemetary r ecords in Washington township,in part. He may,or may not have been speaking of the DAR book.,but I doubt it.. Russ also confirmed that the ridge between n fork Indian, and Stoney Run of Indian where the Sapp's, Armacost's,Purkhizer's,Barger's,Hodges lived was called, locally. Brackenridge Breckenridge. I think 'Nanny Goat 'Hill leads up N Fork. Mrs Dan Moore want's some aid with her Blue Creek, etc Adams Methodist minister. We were driven to the cemetary by pal,Doug Stacy, whose dad,Dayton Stacy, was from Morgan Co,Ky. I want to introduce Doug to LauraBrownMcKenzie as soon as he's on-line with his new computer.
