You got me Herm, i have no idea who Stanford Allen is. Don't even know where the name came from. Bertha Gelvin Minnick and i started researching in Batavia in about 1950. I think she turned that Courthouse inside out. In fact she and the clerks found my Gelvin Girls when the moved the safe. Most of my father's family is from Brown and Clermont Co.
