Across the river in Campbell Co., KY were Kennedy's that married into the Beall, Lindsey & Hedger families... Would love to correspond with anyone familiar with the HEDGER family. My 4th great-gandparents were John Canter and Maria Kennedy, married in Clermont County December 21, 1826. I haven't been able to find Maria's parents or siblings. I have a copy of a very old map of Tate Township and it shows a bunch of Canter farms surrounded by farms of Wm. Kennedy and an A. Kennedy. Bethel,Tate Township,has had a Kennedy-Strevens Funeral Home years. Dick Stevens bought out Edwin Lee Kennedy. Dick's son,Dan,replaced him. Edwin Lee's father or grandfather. Edwin Lee was in my Mom's 1st grade class around 1920+.Hamersville,Clark Township,Brown Co,Ohio is just east of Bethel,Tate township. and had Kennedy's.
