My Dad used to pronounce Kennedy sometimes as Can-a-day. Bethel,Tate Township,has had a Kennedy-Strevens Funeral Home years. Dick Stevens bought out Edwin Lee Kennedy. Dick's son,Dan,replaced him. Edwin Lee's father or grandfather. Edwin Lee was in my Mom's 1st grade class around 1920+.Hamersville,Clark Township,Brown Co,Ohio is just east of Bethel,Tate township. and had Kennedy's.

There was a Thomas Kennedy from Brown County, Ohio that moved to Hancock County, Indiana early. There is also a Kennedy Road in what could be Campbell Co, KY, near route 10/ or 10A, which we take to races in Richmond, VA.
