I'm looking at an 1866 list of the post offices in Clermont, and there are 2 I don't know. Newville and Polktown, which I suppose was Poetown= Maple P.O., MUST HAVE BEEN TWICE AS MANY POST OFFICES BY 1890, when every neighborhood country store had a post office, and name. One on here is Henning's Mills, aka Coontown in s e Williamsburg township. It's church and cemetary was -is New Harmony Methodist,a mile east in Brown Co. Marathon had Cranmer's Methodist cem a 1\2 mile east on RT 50, but mostly would bury at Bloom Rose U.B.cemetary in the edge of Brown Co. Chilo buried at what the DAR called Wood's cemetary, and I call Sargent's. Mt Olive,on RT 133,IS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF a cluster of family cemetaries ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
