Miss Margaret Hibbitts was one of two 2nd grade teachers here at Bethel,Tate Twnsp, Clermont Co,sw Ohio 1945-46 and later. She was a desc ,and owned the home farm at the west edge of Bethel,of Davis Crane, ,whose wife ,AND COUSIN, was a dau of Bethel,Ohio's 1797 founder,Obed Denham. She was closely related to Bethel's librarian,and local historian,Mrs Hassie Crane,and to genealogist Florence Crane Leever. About 1951, Miss Margaret Hibbitts sold part of her farm to the Bethel-Tate school board for an elementary school. Later,2 more schools were built on her -Crane land.
