Especially to new people who do not know: 1. The list manager cannot control what gets posted initially. It is all automated. The most she/ he can do is remove a person from the list to stop further problems. 2. THE BIG ONE. Everything you post goes into the archives and will be there FOREVER. The attitude you present is how future people, when researching old postings, will see you. An oops, I shouldn't have said that, is committed. 3. Often, off the list reponses will be more successful for both you and the person to whom you are responding. And many praises to the wonderful group in Clermont and the huge amount of material they have passed on, via the internet, to those of us who live far away. Dorothy
