I have gotten some information on census data on a Jeremiah Dansberry (various spellings found for the name) and wife Charity Lewis. The 1850 census shows him born about 1804 in Pennsylvania married to Charity Lewis, born about 1806 in Ohio, possibly Clermont Co., married on 1/22/1824 in Clermont Co., Ohio. Four children were listed in the census as born to them: George M. born abt 1833, Jeremiah, Jr. born about 1837, Francis, born about 1841 and William, born about 1842. I am believing that the son George M. is my 2 great grandfather, married to Mary Case, and that his two brothers, Francis and William also married Case girls. I am hoping someone might have additional information on this Jeremiah and his wife, Charity. I am wondering where in Pennsylvania he may have been born, and if there is anything on his family, whether they migrated from the New Jersey area and were traveling through Pa. before settling in Clermont Co. I have found several lines in the NJ area, but have been unable to find any with a connection to Jeremiah. This branch of the family interests me, and I would love to find out more on his line. It definitely looks like this family may connect with the New Jersey families that migrated to Clermont Co., as he is found to be born in Pennsylvania, close enough to be a probable link to the NJ families. If anyone has anything on this family, is connected in anyway with his line, or knows of his ancestry, I would love to hear back from you. Have been corresponding with Wm Mennell, and he provided the census data, that appears to connect this Jeremiah with my George Dansberry married to Mary Case. Anything anyone can offer would be most appreciated. Thanks for any help, Holly Snead snead@qwestinternet.net
