I have a hard time trying to understand how one family can live in Clermont County from 1812 to nearly 1900 and no one knows of or finds anything (worth talking about) about them, including me. For fifty years i have hunted for SANFORD ALLEN GELVIN b. 1821 d. July 13, 1897 m. Lydia PRIMMER dau. of William and Elizabeth STATTON-PRIMMER. His son Sanford Lawrence GELVIN lived in Neville and m. Cornelia Martin HARCOURT and their children lived in Neville. I have found, the land records, Sanford's death certificate. Jeremiah GELVIN's Will and land transactions and that is about it. Sanford Allen was on the School Board in Neville and was also Mayor in Neville. Why can i find nothing about these???? Completely frustrated. June
