    1. Josiah Boothby,of the Yankeetown,Oh colony from Down-East Maine
    2. I watch for peoples from the 3 [more?] colonies from very southern Maine, then still Mass].Baptist Rev Maurice Witham was the earliest [1798] leader, and settled his colony at Withamsville, w Clermont near I-275 and Ohio Rt 125. Mt Moriah cemetary marks the location of Witham's Big Spring-headspring of 9 Mile,or Muddy, creek. Witham also bought 800 acres east on Ohio Rt 125 at Yankeetown, where he settled the 1800 colony. The War of 1812 time period, when the British Navy harrased our shipping and ports, sent the 3rd colony, who settled at Lindale-Amelia,betweeen the earlier two. I've been reading ,from searching Google for "Josiah Boothby" his 1834 estate sale, with additions. He must have died near Manchester,Adams Co, Ohio for Andrew Allison and -Ralston 1st signed the estate settlement. And he left a flat boat, and many barrells of salt. His widow [2nd was a Hannah of New Hope,Oh-1st widow was from Yankeetown-c Rounds]. Anyway, once again,a man trained to the sea as a youth, turned to the Ohio River for work in Ohio. I suppose,1 834,that the salt came from near Charleston,WV. YANKEETOWN,Oh WAS 2-3 miles up Clover [lick] creekj from Caleb Meeker,Thomas Phillips, Rev Moses Warden,John Iden,James Chatterton, Jasper Coalthar.etc
