    3. I am at a terrible dead end and have been for quite some time. If someone on this list is in the court house in Batavia or works there, I would be so greatful for a break. Elizabeth Handy moved to Clermont shortly before 1850 In 1879-80 Book V page 598 Clermont, OH 1880 Book V 106 pages 598-599-600 a deed was made out to her where her chidlren: Patrick Handy, James Handy, Veronica Handy (Tracy), and Stephen Handy deed their inherited interest of a part of in lot 62 to their mother Elizabeth, widow of Daniel Handy. Then they ALL disappear. I have found James in Alton, IL and been able to follow; but Elizabeth and son Patrick are not appearing in the 1880 census or any time later. Elizabeth's property had to have transferred later (after 1880) to someone else, but the LDS microfilm does not index later. I would so much like to fill the gap and learn if she remarried, if she died in Clermont, or what did happen to her. The transfer of that land might give me an answer. So, if anyone has a chance to check an index for that property, I would be delighted. Also, I have the T. P. White funeral home index which I would be glad to do look ups for. Thank you, Dorothy ________________________________________ PeoplePC Online A better way to Internet http://www.peoplepc.com
