    1. Yesterday,I finally hiked off once Justice land
    2. HERMON B FAGLEY
    3. Somehow, Methodist circut rider Rev Jesse Justice had two 100 [?] Acre NJ farms to sell in 1805,on Mantua and Raccoon creeks,Gloucester Co,NJ. My guess is that they came from his 2 wives, "but" if from the Justice's,Dr Craig and I have his ancestors wrong. And he 1st bought 540 acres cut now by Ohio Rt 125,and by Sugartree Rd,west of Bethel,Clermont Co,sw Ohio. And increased it to 700 acres. And divided a portion of it among his sons in 826,by will. Then they,or their sons bought lands adjoining the 700 acres. So,I'm a 62 year old hiking, and hiking daily, for cardiac rehab, and weight loss, and lower blood preasure from my home in the middle of the original tract of 1805. And I'm long into local history, and genealogy. And my hikes, at my snail's pace are letting me see things ,I've never noticed at 60 mph. Daily I increase my distances a bit. And,I'm thinking, because nights have been below freezing and days above, that it's maple sugar making season, here on Sugartree Creek. Yesterday my eastern hike finally cross the creek, and just on the 1805 George Swing tract. By the Creek is a road from which I can see the 1805 tract of Michael Strickland,[ but is that mean black pit bull back that way? I finally, yesterday, reached the eastern limits of Justice's tract. And I noticed the scar of a road leading between the forks, and by Thomas Page's 1807 brick sold to US Grant's Simpsons. .You see, when I hike N-S on Sugartree,I hike off Justice land,or do I. My grandpa Brown [wife 's mother a Justice] and Albert Gallatin Justice had farms on former Page-Simpson land. Did I walk north to JOHN DRUMMOND land, orlater,Savil Justice's 2nd farm. My hike west yesterdy was past the house ROBERT JUSTICE HARRIS built, and past Cliff Justice's,his grandfather's, to the Joseph M jUSTICE -Harris turkeyfarm. Killed at Missionary Ridge was Joseph M, and his Leeds wife left Cliff to be raised by Maskell Clark, and by Robert Justice's bro-in-law,Moses Warden. Anyway, across the 4 lanes I've finally reached the Shotwell stage coacjh inn, and the nw limit of Justice land, but it stretches another 1\2 mile to the sw and,1805 ,EDWARD BARTON. I don't know whether Rev Jesse Justice,or his son,Robert, built the old frame to my east. Robert's son,Wm Penn Justice owned it,and a 2nd farm adjoining the 700 acres. And surely joined his brother,Savil, making maple sugar. 200 buckets for 200 sugar maple trees on Savil Justice, and I can just remember the ruins of his sugar camp buildings, where somebody stayed up all night tending 4 kettles. Robert Justice Harris's uncle made maple sugar as a business in my memory, 2 miles west I saw his sugar camp-his building and vat for reducing maple sap into syrup,in 1972. My Wife's great grandfather was tennet on that farm ,1900. That's why we are both sweet. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
