    2. Hello, I am new to this list, but my Sanders family has Clermont Co. roots. My Maryarter Sanders, son of Nahum and Susannah Sanders, was b. abt. 1779 in NC and his will was probated on Oct. 21, 1856 in Clermont Co., OH. Maryarter's wife, Nancy (mnu) was b. Dec. 2, 1787 in Hawkins Co., TN and d. in Miamiville, Clermont Co. on Jun 3, 1875. He is buried in the Concord Church "burying ground" in Clermont Co. I do not know where his wife is buried. Their children were: Susan SANDERS (b. abt 1815), m. Riley Young WOODLIEF, Jr. in 1829 in Hawkins Co., TN; known children: Capt. William Harold Woodlief and Riley Woodlief, III. Nancy SANDERS (b. abt 1817, d. 1894), m. William Smith BUCKINGHAM in 1835 (his second wife); known child: Jane "Jennie" Buckingham who m. John QUAIL; their known children: Smith Quail, William Henry Quail and George Quail. Sarah SANDERS (b. abt 1820), m. William ORR in 1842; known child: Amanda Orr. Melinda SANDERS (b. abt 1823) m. Moses F. ROBINSON in 1849 (listed as widower on marriage bond; first wife unknown); known children: Dr. John M. Robinson; Charles Robinson; and Eva E. Robinson. Moses died in 1879 and in 1884 Harriet M. Robinson was appointed as guardian of Eva E. Robinson, minor child of Moses F. Robinson. (See my questions below.) Nahum SANDERS (b. Oct. 18, 1827; d. Jan. 8, 1916) m. Elizabeth Martha Fisher in 1850 in KS. Catherine SANDERS (b. abt 1830) m. unknown given name BARBE? Elizabeth SANDERS (b. abt 1833 in KY). Other known information: Maryarter (given name actually Mary Arthur) was b. in NC and moved to Hawkins Co., TN abt. 1813. He moved to Clermont Co. between 1840 and 1850 where he joined his sister Nancy and her husband Thomas MEDARIS who had moved there in 1803. Maryarter is listed on that county's 1850 census with his wife Nancy, son Naum age 22 and daughter Elizabeth M. age 17. His 1856 will listed his wife and all of the above children, but omitted his youngest Elizabeth. It would, then be assumed that Elizabeth had died prior to 1856. I would be interested in obtaining information on any of the above individuals. Of particular interest: who was Moses F. ROBINSON's first wife and who was Harriet M. ROBINSON? I have a lot of SANDERS information to share. Thanks! Mary Lu Sanders marylus@earthlink.net Mary Lu Sanders marylus@earthlink.net
