    3. Fellow researchers: Please be advised that I have just posted a small update to my web page. Included with this update is the following: I have extended the Franklin County, VA personal property tax list transcriptions for Beckelhymer/Picklesimer and allied families now through 1814. I also think I am on to something regarding the connection to the surname Rinker. As indicated on my web page, John Beckelhymer, Sr married for the third time Elizabeth Rinker circa 1780. If you check the tax lists for Franklin County, VA that are posted on my web page (http://members.home.net/johntippet/) you will see that there was a George Rinker, Sr living in the same district as the Picklesimers from 1795 to 1802. There was also an Elijah Rinker enumerated in the tax lists for the years 1795 to 1797, a George, Jr in 1802 to 1804, a Jacob in 1799 to 1801 and a Jonathan in 1804. An Elijah and Jonathan Rinker are enumerated in the Campbell County, KY tax lists in 1809 as well as a John Rinker in 1805. From the marriage records of Clermont County, OH 1800 to 1850 you will find the following Rinker marriages: Cloak Rinker to James Craycraft, 29 Oct 1815 by Timothy Rardin, JP Elizabeth Rinker to Give Rinker, 29 Oct 1815 by Timothy Rardin, JP Mary Rinker to Isaac Ferguson, 19 Jun 1823 by William Robb, MG If you go to the following website: http://scican2.scican.net/MCHAGAI/rinkergeorgedescendantsof.html you will find a descendancy narrative of a George Rinker which is apparently the same family as the one indicated above. The Cloak Rinker is obviously Cloa Jane. The Give Rinker is apparently Levi Rinker. I wonder if George Rinker might have been Elizabeth's sister? I welcome comments on this intriguing connection.
