Fellow researchers: Please be advised that I have just posted an update to my web page. Point your browsers to http://members.home.net/johntippet/ and click on Beckelhymer and then Behymer Tax Records. Changes with this update are the following: (1) I have added a transcription of the 1786 to 1803 Personal Property Tax Lists for Franklin County, VA for Beckelhymer/Picklesimer and allied family names. These include Archer, Dillman, Fishburn, Harger, Kinsey, Landis, Lazena, Lemon, Logan, Phares, Prator, Rinker, Trout, and Waggoner. I have proof read these and I think the information there is accurate. There are still some of the allied names, however, that are missing. I have to go through the list one more time before I can be sure. I will post an update in the near future. (2) I have added a transcription of the 1816 to 1824 Duplicate Tax Records for Clermont County, OH for Beckelhymer and allied family names. These include Archer, Custer, Fitzpatrick, France, Gray, Kinsey, Littleton, Logan, Lower, McCord, Mattox, Parvin, Robb and Shultz. At this time, most of the allied family names are only included for the years 1816 through 1817 or 1818 (however, Kinsey and Lower are complete).
