    2. Wm Fee founded Felicity,Franklin twnsp,s e Clermont Co,Oh in 1817 in an area settled since the 1795-96 winter. Son Jesse Fee m a Knowles girl in 1822. Alonzo Knowles wore many hats before his 1852 death. He was an early Felicity merchant, who read law with Bethel's anti-slavery US Senator and VP candidate, Thomas Morris. Alonzo,in 1845,helped found the Felicity Chirch of Christ, and was Elder, and often minister. 1840,south of Felicity, just off Oho Rt 222,west of Rt 133,Mt Pleasant Olive] Church of Christ had been founded by former Dunkards. Alpnzo Knowles, wife, mother, and others are buried at Mt Pleasant. Alexander Case was the carpenter at Chilo,on down Rt 222 at the Ohio River,by 1826. Theiophillus sp?] Case was married in 1811 [2nd time?] by John Ross, JP who lived upriver a few miles. I think Theo Case is on the 1802 census of,then,Washington township,Clermont Co. Brown Co and Franklin township, were founded in 1818. It's possible Theo Case lived in whart became Lewis twp,Brown Co. John Ross,1811 JP of Clermont, would be located in Lewis twnsp,Brown Co,after the split. My own Tate township has a Case Rd,so-named about 1950 when road signs were installed.
