Born 1762 on Oldman's Creek,sw most NJ,and died in 1826-his last years as minister of Mt Zion Methodist,RT 756,NE of Felicity,Ohio.He sold 2 NJ farmis and bought 540 Clermont acres in 1805. Someplace in this house is his NJ service record. He served under Col's Isreal Shreve and Jonathan Dayton ,in the 2nd NJ. 1798-1803,he was a Methodist circutrider in s NJ,and Dover,Delaware.
