Ira Stevens,21 m Mrs Elizabeth A Bricker,24 Feb 9,1871 and Mary H Stevens,20 m Lewis Monjar,23 Jan 9,1870 and Scott E Stevens 21 m Kate Raper,20 Dec 10,1867 are in the same south Williamsburg township area,as is the Sherman family. I suppose Dr Andrew Fitch McCall,had moved to Bethel. Dr Leavett T Pease lived just east of Williamsburg. My Dad was raised along Ohio Rt 133 just south of Williamsburg in n Tate twnsp. [1898-2000]. He knew Jess Jordan and his brother,who lived along Rt 133 . Jess was born about 1880.Wilma Jordan m Harold Rowan about 1930. They were in Dad's classes at Williamsburg High. My father always said our family was connected to the Monjar family but he didn't know just how. This would have been through his mother Edith Higdon, daughter of Daniel Mason Higdon and Carrie Bell Wagner. Daniel's parents were Josiah Higdon and Ann Mason who owned a farm on Clough Pike a couple of miles east of Withamsville Tobasco Rd. Ann was an immigrant from England. Josiah was from Kentucky. Carrie's parents were John Wagner and Caroline Nordyke. Caroline's parents were John Nordyke and Catherine Critchfield. John Nordyke' parent was Samuel Nordyke apparently from New Jersey. Anyone see a connection?
