Joan Do you have any information on Sarah STOUDER who married Charles BINKLEY in 1832? Her parents were Samuel STOUDER and Hannah KNOTTS. I have not been able to find any info on them after their marriage, especially death dates. Any help would be appreciated. I have a little info on Samuel STOUDER and wives but not much. Hi Donna, I don't have much information on the Binkley side. Probably what I tell you you may already know. I just read through what I have of the Stouders and there is a mention of Sarah marrying Charles Binkley and nothing more about them. I do have some copies of deeds with Charles' father, Jacob Binkley as a witness for the Stouder family. They were obviously all friends in Pa and then moved close to each other in Oh. They all came from Cambria Co. Pa. My information says Jacob came in 1811 to Clermont Co. They were all listed in the Stonelick Church, a Brethren or Dunkard Church. My Aunt Ruth Cast, did all the research on my mother's side and she was given the Stouder information in 1952 by an Aunt Anne Stouder Whiting, a half sister of my gggrandmother Molly Stouder Brunk. Their father was David Stouder and he had handed this information to Anne before his death. I know Ruth continued to fill in the blanks where she could, but I don't think in that line she found much more. She listed the children of Samuel Stouder and Hannah Knott showing their birth and death dates. Under Sarah she only had her birth as April 1, 1815, no death date. Do you have further information on Charles? Any property deeds or if he remarried or anything else like that? I realize it's hard to research a family if you don't live in the area. In Goshen, Ohio there is an old cemetery on the farm that was owned by Christian Stouder. Several Stouder's are buried there including Samuel and Hannah, first wife and Nancy, second wife. But, Sarah Binkley is not in the list. I have also run into dead ends with some relatives because they lived on farms and probably were buried there and no documentation was required at the time. The family Bible may be the only record. I assume you have been on the Binkley List looking, also. I'll keep you in mind if I find anything else and hope you find more, too. Joan Williams, Miami, FL.
