Hi Walter, its just a guess but I think your line would be from the Andrew McClain line from Scotland through Peter McClain that came to Clermont county from New Jersy c 1800 Large amount of information in 3 volumes on this family at Los Angelese FHC under the names Johnson and McClain's.
