    1. Re: [OHCLER] SE Anderson township family cemetaries.

    3. I lived in Anderson Twp for 40 years, and all of these cemeteries with the exception of Stagg share a name with a township road. Asbury Rd extends from SR 125 (Beechmont Ave) south to US 52 (Kellogg Ave) crossing I-275, which runs east/west in the township. It is approximately 2 miles east of the Clermont line. Ayers Rd. Extends between Five Mile Rd on the west to Asbury Rd. A length of about 1 mile. It lies south of I-275. There are members the Ayers family living today in the township. Bennett Rd. extends between Birney Lane and Markley Rd, also about a mile in length and running generally east west. Bennett Rd intersects Markley just north of where Markley intersects Five Mile and Bennett intersects Five Mile at the same place as Markley. Anderson township was settled in the 1790's and like Clermont was part of the Virginia Military District which extended west to the Little Miami River. That river is the western boundary of Anderson Township. Mound building Indians occupied the township at least 500 years prior to the white settlers.
