My 2d g. grandfather was the son of Alexander Sampson, born 1729, died 1783; married Rebecca Shattuck, born 1710. 7. My 3d g. grandmother was the daughter of Joseph Shattuck, born 1687, died 1729; married Mary Ladd October 12, 1708. 8. My 4th g. grandfather was the son of Philip Shattuck, born 1648, died 1722; married Rebecca Chamberlain February 11, 1680; born 1665, died 1728. 9. My 5th g. grandmother was the daughter of Richard Chamber- lain, died 1673; married Sarah Bugby, born 1630. 10.
