Theodore Arbogast most likely is the same family group as the ARMACOST group from MD, Carroll Co to Clermont Co. OH in the very late 1790s. This line for me is Armacost/Dole to Jefferson Co., IA in 1850. We do know that some of the family did spell the name Arbogost in MD. Jack Dole
