In a dispute recorded in the Common Pleas Chancery records of Clermont County, OH (July term 1827), Andrew Gray and his wife, Martha Logan are listed along with several others. I have seen Andrew's wife listed as Elizabeth Logan in several places. Could it be that Elizabeth is in error and, in fact, Andrew's wife is Martha instead? Does anyone have a source for Elizabeth Logan? The dispute referenced above clearly states Martha Logan as Andrew's wife. Or perhaps did Andrew marry sisters, Martha and Elizabeth Logan in addition to Lucy (Robb) McCord. John Charles Tippet johntippet@home.com
