1870 atlas shows S.W.Ulrey's 70 acre farm in no 561 [?] .Perhaps landlocked. Shows a lane east from Ohio Rt 133 east of Macedonia Road. Dad's Rupublician 1 room school is at that intersection. 1870 shows an informal lane past Ullrey's to Starling Rd. My wife sold a small farm on that lane 15 years ago that had abot 30 acres. flat. Above is ne of Bethel. SE of Bethel is Patterson Rd,and Parke's lived on it once. Lamanda Parke,the gunsmith,comes to mind. At the se end of Patterson Rd,at Sodom Rd,was,1800,Levi Hunt,and Levi's son,Thomas was a gunsmith,too.
