Robert PETERSON, Batavia, Clermont County, Ohio Clermont County, OH Deeds, LDS microfilm #033150 Following is the sale in 1832: "This Indenture, made the thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred & thirty two between Robert PETERSON of the county of Clermont & State of Ohio, Cordwainer & Elizabeth his wife of the one part & George ULRY of the same place yeoman of the other part. Whereas the said Robert PETERSON being lawfully seized in fee of a certain lot or piece of land situate in said county & state on the waters of Clover lick Ajoining land of George C. LIGHT & others as will appear by deed giving to said Robert PETERSON from Enos PARK for said land Being dated November The nineteenth eighteen hundred and twenty one Recorse being had thereunto will more fully appear this Indenture witnesseth that the said Robert PETERSON & Elizabeth his wife for & in consideration of eighty one dollars paid to them or him the said Robert PETERSON by the said George ULRY at or before the ensuing & delivery of their presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell convey, and confirm unto the said George ULRY his heirs & assigns forever the above mentioned lot or pieces of land No. 572 being a part of a survey entered in the name of Peter CAISEY but patented to G. T. COTTON. Now this certain lot or piece of land is situate & bounded as followeth Beginning at a white oak & two beaches at the southwest corner of Henry WHITEINGS survey No. 561 thence with his line North thirty three degrees? East one hundred and four poles to a maple and white oak in WHITINGS line and corner to George C. LIGHT thence with his line North thirty two & half degrees? West twenty eight poles and twenty two & a half links to a stake or a stone in said line thence south sixty five degrees West seventy five poles to a stake or a stone in the opposate line the original line, thence south nineteen degrees East eighty three poles & ten links to the beginning, corner, this lot is to contain twenty eight acres no more nor no less with all the appertainance whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining the rents issues & profits. Thereof & all the estate right, title, interest use possession, property claim & demand whatsoever of heirs the said Robert PETERSON & Elizabeth his wife in Law equity or otherwise howsoever of in & to the hereby lot or piece of land as above described & every part thereof to Have & to hold the said described lot or piece of land & premises hereby granted bargained & sold or mentioned so to be with the appurtenances unto the said George ULRY his heirs & assigns to for thereso & behoof of the said George ULRY his heirs and assigns forever & the said Robert PETERSON for himself his heirs executors & administrators doth covenant promise & grant to & with the said George ULRY & his heirs the above described lot or piece of land & promises hereby granted with the appurtenances to th e said George ULRY his heirs & assigns against leins from Robert PETERSON his wife Elizabeth his wife their heirs & assigns & against all & every person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim any right or title there to by from or under them the said Robert PETERSON & Elizabeth his wife have hereunto set their hands & seals the day and year first avoe written.
