Hello, I am researching John B. Tibbets and Amy Wood that were married in 1829 in Clermont Co.. In the 1880 census of Humbolte, Allen County, Kansas, I find John and Amy Tibbets living with Thomas C. Barr and his wife Malissa. It does not give the age of the Barrs. We know that John and Amy had several family members close by at this time that they could have lived with in their old age, so who is Thomas Barr and why are they living with them? A thought has crossed my mind, that the Barrs may be related to John and Amy. Does any one have Barr history of Clermont Co., that eventually moved on to Allen Co., Kansas? This is a shot in the dark, but have to start somewhere. Thanks, Carolyn
