John Ross Tice was Bethel innkeeper,Clermont. His father lived at Tansboro and Williamstown,Gloucester Co,NJ .His uncle,Reuben Ross,is buried in Bethel's pioneer cemetary,and lived between Bethel and Clover [licl] Creek,in n Tate township. A 2nd Reuben Ross lived in Anderson township,Hamilton Co,Oh,and if akin to Ignatius Ross,had Md Catholic roots. He served from what is today,very sw Pa's Greene Co,,but Nov 1774,-1781 was Monoghalia Co,Va.These Rosses owned land in Sterling township,Brown Co,Oh n e of Williamsburg,Ohio by 1820. I say the 2 were confused in 1 of the 4 books on Clermont's Rev War vets.
