1642,I have found mention on a Robert Short on Kent Island,in the Chesapeake ,of where the town of Londontown,Anne Arundal Co,Md was formed in 1682. 1701,Abraham Short m Naomy Thurman,at All Hollows Episcopal,Birdsville, Anne Arundal Co,Md. [1690's-1776,the Episcopal church was the official church of Maryland].. A John Short m Mary Miller at All Hollows church in 1732. It looks to me as though my wife may have 100+ years of ancestors south of the South River,and north of the West River,which both drain into the Chesapeake.My own Dugal McQueen lived 1716-1742 south of the West River,near the 'Cliffs' of Calvert Co,se Md.
