Eliza Curless 23 m Stephen N Bennett,25,nov 20,1856 by John C Maddy,minister. Rev John C Maddy was not local,but was a Methodist located at several Clermont Methodist churches. There were 3 pioneer NJ>Clermont Co [2 a mile into Brown Co.] Curless families. I'm guessing she was a granddaughter of Timothy Curless,of the Williamsburg-Batavia township line [north side of 1970 Lake Harsha within East Fork State Park.]That would be 15+ miles from the Big Indian-Laurel Bennett's, I guess she attended Greenbrier Methodist,if not my Old Bethel. Miami Co is north of Dayton,and west of Springfield,and 100 miles from Cincinnati schools, with Dayton in between. Timothy Curless lived 25 miles east of Cincinnati.
