Richard: I see a Lavina Wheeler, age 44, enumerated in the 1850 census of Clermont County, Ohio Twp, living in the household of William and Margery Wheeler, ages 70 and 65, respectively, all born in Maine. Nearby are the families of Samuel and Frances Short and Charlotte Short. Is this the Lavina who may have been Amanda's mother? Also, what is the source for Amanda's mother being Lavina and father unnamed/unknown? Actually, it is Lovina Wheeler (with an "o".) She never married and as far as I know she never did have any children - at least not that the family documented (or would admit.) I missed the start of this thread, but I am looking for information on Lucinda Wheeler, born 3 Apr 1803 in Clermont County. She married John Simpson Aldridge in Clermont County on 22 Jul 1819. She died 19 Apr 1836 and is buried in Rush County. I would love to know who her parents were. Any clues?? Thanks -- Donna -----Original Message----- From: Irene Watson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 01, 2005 9:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [OHCLER] Wheeler/Etc Actually, it is Lovina Wheeler (with an "o".)
