    3. Reuben Ross, b: abt. 1755, Harford Co, MD, d: Hamilton Co, OH. He applied for his pension in Hamilton Co 9 June, 1818 and he had a brother, Ignatius. Apparently, there were 3 Reuben Ross's in the Rev War from MD... this one from Harford Co, 1 from Dorchester Co and the other I have no information on. The Dorchester Co. Reuben Ross died in IL. Research suggests that the Harford Co and Dorchester Co Reubens were probably of the same immigrant. His father lived at Tansboro and Williamstown,Gloucester Co,NJ .His uncle,Reuben Ross,is buried in Bethel's pioneer cemetary,and lived between Bethel and Clover [licl] Creek,in n Tate township. A 2nd Reuben Ross lived in Anderson township,Hamilton Co,Oh,and if akin to Ignatius Ross,had Md Catholic roots. He served from what is today,very sw Pa's Greene Co,,but Nov 1774,-1781 was Monoghalia Co,Va.These Rosses owned land in Sterling township,Brown Co,Oh n e of Williamsburg,Ohio by 1820. I say the 2 were confused in 1 of the 4 books on Clermont's Rev War vets.
