Could someone look up a marriage for me? I have a confusion of dates. One date shows September , 1839 - doesn't seem ?quite? accurate with the birth of the first child -- though possible. The other date I was told is September 1838. In that file he was listed as Phenias L. CASTER married to Caroline EDWARDS. These are the same people evidentally the R in Carter must have looked like an S. His actual name was Phenias (spelled many ways) L. CARTER married to Caroline (Nancy) EDWARDS. Would someone be able to check to see if there is a Phenias CASTER listed in 1838 marriage or P.L. CARTER for 1838 or perhaps the Nancy or Caroline EDWARDS name. They were married in Clermont county.
