Dear Herm, and "interested": In all of the concentrated and extended research efforts in Maryland records and documents, for the Shorts that "early" ended up in Clermont Co, Montgomery Co, and Shelby Co, Ohio, the Abraham Short family of late 1600's?, early 1700's, Anne Arundel Co, are the only ones ever "connected". Any of the other Shorts, of very close, or close, areas of Maryland, have never been found to be connected?. As Abraham Short seems to be somewhat "under" then government "control", very early 1700's, he is indicated as not having been there very long, maybe not much before 1705/6.
