    1. Re: [OHCLER] re CA Death Index
    2. Any Index is not always a complete record and only as good as the human that enters the data. It is my understanding that the CA Death Index that is searchable "free" on the Internet (also available at Rootsweb) is taken from the data that appears on "Fiche" which is not complete data. The data that appears on "microfilm" is complete. This probably is the "Fiche" version. Ancestry.com has the rights to the complete data, which of course if paid subscription. Or the LDS and some Genealogy Libraries/Societies have copies of the film. When searching, although I have not tried this search engine, sometimes it is better if you just place the first three letter and a "*" or "?" after those three letters. ie Smi* or Smi? If the name is completely misspelled on the Index it then can have a totally different Soundex. Either way it can still be a good tool for locating your ancestors even though they are not always reliable. 3. I'm trying to make a family connection with the EDWARDS family in Clermont Co. I found a listing for Oliver S. b. 1823 and d. 1891 and Esther C. b. 1827 and d. 1905 and buried together at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Can someone tell me how I can find obit's on these individuals? Can I get someone to go out to this cemetery and see if they can locate the plot they are buried in and take a photo for me? Maybe find any other EDWARDS family buried in the vicinity? I've sent a message to the Clermont County Library to see if they can assist but I haven't rec'd an answer, as of yet. If any one can assist, I'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Michael T. 1. Re: [OHCLER] Clermont County Research Trip - 2005
    2. John..Since my ancestor Nathan Morgan arrived in Campbell co. Ky. in 1798 and I haven't been able to locate Nathan's brother Enoch, I wondered if the John H. Morgan m. Nancy B'meyer was part of this tribe. Some settled in Clermont Co. You must be lauded for your research. Wish you were on my team...Mary Ellen Morgan
