    1. Clermont Co marriage books
    2. John Charles Tippet
    3. As I do a lot of research in Clermont County, I would very much like to obtain copies of the Clermont County marriages books, one pre 1850 and the other 1850 to 1874 and the T P White funeral records book. I understand that all three of these books are out of print. Is there anyone out there who has copies of any of these books who would be willing to either (1) sell them to me, or, alternatively, (2) let me borrow them, to make copies for myself? I would gladly cover expenses for the latter. John Charles Tippet johntippet@home.com

She was a desc ,and owned the home farm at the west edge of Bethel,of Davis Crane, ,whose wife ,AND COUSIN, was a dau of Bethel,Ohio's 1797 founder,Obed Denham. She was closely related to Bethel's librarian, and local historian,Mrs Hassie Crane, and to genealogist Florence Crane Leever. About 1951, Miss Margaret Hibbitts sold part of her farm to the Bethel-Tate school board for an elementary school. Later,2 more schools were built on her -Crane land. 2. Hello listers. I am not a subscriber to all of the Ohio County message boards. I do subscribe to a few of them. Just wanted to pass this on to all who may be researching their family roots in Ohio. I just updated my Ohio genealogy resources web page. There are links to most all of the 88 counties of Ohio. (Except Montgomery County, need some links for that one) There are also several other state wide resources listed on the page. Please visit as many times as you like. Its always free and gets updated once a week. Also if anyone has any links that they feel may be useful to other researchers. Please email me with the web address for that resource, I'll add it to my page during one of my weekly updates. I usually update my page on Saturday night. So if you have viewed the page in the past and found it to be a little in disarray that's why. Here is the page address: http://bohemianancestors.homestead.com/Ohio.html Happy Hunting to all. 1. Bennett & Beeby
    2. Hi everyone, I have been searching for info on my John Bennett who was married to Mary Knabb. I couldn't find anything because there seemed no tie to the rest of the Bennetts in Clermont county. Today I was going through his pension papers for the umteenth time and found his parents names. They are William and Mary. So I went to family search to try my luck and I stumbled upon a marriage of a Wm and Mary Beeby(b.1795) in Gloucester, NJ (1816). I don't know that this is them but I do remember seeing quite a few people who migrated from NJ. I also went to rootsweb to look at 1820 census records and found Wm. and just afew names down on that page was a Beeby. Half of the page doesn't show. Does anyone have access to these census records? If so does it have a place of birth? If anyone has any info they could share I would greatly appreciate it!! 3. Jack, Richey, Wood, Baum has the following information. The immigrant Charles Baum and his wife Barbara Youngken had 9 children, Samuel b/d in PA, Elizabeth m Peter Emery, Michael E. m. ElizabethRichey first child 1807 no Margaret/Peggy, Margaret (1774-1853) m. 1795 in Pa Conrad Metzger, Charles Jr. (twin) m. 1803 in Ohio Susan Moyer moved 1839 Carroll Twp, Vermillion Co., IL, Catherine (twin) m. 1802 Benjamin Sells, Mary Baum m Peter DeWitt, Susanna m Thomas Jones, Barbara m. Leonard Metzger. The following is a quote from p88 of Richey Woods Baum. "(1) Samuel Baum, son of Charles Sr. and Barbara (Youngken) Baum, b. Aug 16, 1769 in Bucks Co., PA. d. Oct. 2, 1842 in Union Co., PA, aged 73. It appears that Samuel died while on a visit to Pennsylvania, as the history of Clermont Co., Ohio, lista a Samuel Baum as a property owner there in 1826, along with a Michael and Charles. There are three unidentified marriage licenses in Clermont County that do not belong in the family of Michael or Charles Jr. They are: Peggy Baum and Joseph Dole, May 1, 1827. (M.E. preacher; d. in Iowa). George Baum and Susanna Todd, Sept. 13, 1828. Robert Baum and Lucinda Molden, May 1, 1831." 1. Accounts of Aquilla Judd
    2. Hi, A few days ago I was on the internet searching for information about the ever-elusive William Cooper. I forget which search engine I used (I didn't bookmark it) I used, but it directed me to this mailing list. Specifically it cited an entry by a Kate Riley concerning "the accounts of Aquilla Judd". Sure enough there was William Cooper on the list of names. The date given for the post was Dec. 11, 1998. I didn't have time to persue it then, but when I went back the next day to check the archives of the mailing list, I found that it only goes back to May of 1999. Does anyone know where I can find out more about this? Who was Aquilla Judd and what was Wm. Cooper doing on his list? How can I contact Kate Riley? Sharon Schwartz
