just out of curiosity is it proper to post a social security number on the list even if the person is dead? Maybe using the last 4 digits is ok but I would not post the whole number?? Just wanting to know what the others feeling on this are Deb Middletown Ohio ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ted Crayne" <tcrayne@ec.rr.com> To: <ohbutler@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2006 9:08 PM Subject: Re: [OHBUTLER] 1930 Census look-up for Raliegh Eastin (Easton) > According to the WW I Draft Registration Card, William Raleigh Eastin > (from > his signature) was born 25 Jan 1891 in Stanton, KY. There are millions of SSN'S already posted for those who have passed away on the SSDI. I wouldn't post the SSN for anyone who's alive. Deb, The Social Security death index is available on several different sites. SS numbers are on the Ohio Death Index. So I don't think it makes any difference in using them on the list since they are readily available all over the internet.
