Hi everyone, I think these epidemics got my 4th ggrand parents in these part of Ohio, sometime between 1824-1827. I have no names to connect. My 3rd ggrand father (Samuel Barker Wilkinson) was orphaned at six years old when something happened to them.. What I have about Samuel Barker Wilkinson states he was born in Cincinnati in 1821, to English born parents, thus approximate death dates for parents. He was adopted by a John Baxter of Warren Co., OH. and later lived in Oxford, Butler Co., OH. Looking for records of this adoption. Does anyone have info about epidemics during that time and info on the surviving Samuel Barker Wilkinson? Please feel free to forward to others that might help in discovery of Samuel Barker Wilkinson's parents names and burial place. > [Original Message] > From: G.Williams <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Date: 6/4/2005 8:54:31 AM > Subject: Re: [OHBUTLER-L] Epedemics > > The "Saga of Paddys' Run" by Stephen R Williams, the story of Shandon, > Butler Co, Ohio, refers to the cholera epidemic of 1834.
