The MetroParks of Butler County have a beautifully restored house that they use as their administrative headquarters. It is at 2051 Timberman Road in Ross Township. They believe that it constructed by the Timberman family in the early 19th century, possibly c.1812. Several Timberman's show up in the are on the 1875 and 1895 Butler County maps.
